...24th of July Rodeo...

Me and my mom took the kids down to Spanish fork for the 24th. We went to the carnival and then we went to the rodeo that night. Kaylee and Braxton loved it. Braxton wouldn't take his eyes off of it. He would watch the horses go back and forth. After the rodeo they had firework. It was alot of fun.

...My baby is getting big...

I took Braxton to the doctors on the 16th for his 4 month check up. He will be 4 months on the 24th. He finally hit 12lbs. He is 5 percentile in weight and 9 perentile in his height. He is still wearing 0-3 month clothes. His shorts are all still big on him. He is so much fun. He rolled over all by himself for the first time on monday.

Braxton held his bottle all by himself for the first time on Thursday the 16th. He is growing up way to fast.This is him eating rice cereal for the first time....

And he hated it. Everytime I would put it in his mouth he would gag on it and then throw up. So I have been putting it in his bottle and he does alot better with it.

This is him that night holding it again. I can't believe he is already 4 months old. It had gone by way to fast. He laughs all the time. He is such a happy and easy baby. He will usually go to bed around 10:00 and sleeps until 6:30. We have been so lucky!

My Birthday....I'm getting old

Last night we went out to dinner for my birthday since there isn't alot of resturants open on sunday. Are friends Meagan and Willy went out with us. We found out while we were there that it was her birthday today too. It was kind of funny. We went to Tepanyaki in layton. It was really good food and so entertaining. We had never been there before so it was way fun. They threw shrimp up in the air and we had to catch them in are mouth. It was funny. My mom keep the kids all night so we could go and have fun. It was the first night that I have left Braxton all night. It was so sad. I haven't left Kaylee all night since new years so it was weird to not have the kids here. We had alot of fun with are friends.

The Cruise In...July 4th

Brian and I took Kaylee and Braxton to the parade in Hyrum in the morning. Then we went out to dinner for me and Mindy's brithday at Iggy's. After that we went to the tabernacal to sit and watch the cruise in. It is fun to watch all of the old cars drive up and down main street. After that was over we went to the riverside fireworks. Kaylee didn't like the big fireworks. She was hiding under the blankets both nights cuz she said they were to loud.

Braxton is getting so big. He is so much fun. He finally started giggling a couple of days ago. It is so cute. He has such a cute little personality. He is now 3 months old. The time has gone by way fast.

Fireworks at the Stadium...July 3rd

Every year we go up to the stadium and sit on the grass for the fireworks. It is fun to go up there and let the kids play.

The day at Lagoon!! June 26th

Today was ATK's lagoon day so me and the kids went with my dad, mom, and michael. My cousin Kim and her two kids Jace and Trevor also came. We had alot of fun. We spent most of the day letting the kids ride all of the rides. At first Kaylee wasn't to sure about the rides but after a little bit she started liking them. We took the kids on the train to see all of the animals. They really liked that. Just as we got ready to leave it started raining BAD. By the time we made it to the truck there was not a dry spot on us. It was still a really fun day!

Hogle Zoo...June 25th

Brians two nieces are here from South Carolina so Brians mom took all of us to Hogle Zoo for the day. It was so much fun. The Kids loved seeing all of the animals.

HAIRCUT!!

I have been saying for a while now that I wanted to cut my hair so I finally did it and I love it. I called my friend Chelsey today and she said she would cut it. So we went to brigham to have it done. Thanks so much Chelsey. Brian didn't know that I was doing it so when I got home he was quit surprised. He has been telling me not to cut it but he actually liked it. He likes my hair long better but oh well he will just have to get used to it.

Air Show...June 6th, 2009

We went to the air show at Hill Air Force Base. It was alot of fun. Kaylee has been able to see the smallest airplanes from really far away ever since she was little. She loved watching all the airplanes do the twists and flips in the air. The Thinderbirds were the last one to fly. They are really cool to watch. They would all fly at eachother and then turn on their side as they all got to the middle to pass eachother. I dont get how they do it.

I think that this is the picture of the F-18. It was way loud but really cool to see.

The airplanes were pretty loud so Kaylee and Braxton had to wear ear plugs. We all had tons of fun. We went down there with my dad, mom, and brother Michael.

Day at the doctors..

Braxton-
I had to take Braxton to the doctor today for his 2 month check up. He finally has gained 2 pounds since birth. He is now up to 8 lbs 14 oz. We are finally making progress. He is 3 percentile in weight and 9 percent in height. He is not even close to where he should be but at least he is gaining. He had to get two shots. He normally doesnt even cry when he gets them but this time he freaked out. I felt so bad for him.



Ashlee-
I had to go to the doctors also. I have been having really bad pains in my stomach ever since I had Braxton. I had to have an ultrasound done to see what is going on. They said that there is a little bit of the placenta left in there so on monday I have to have a D & C. It not going to be fun but hopefully it will help so I can stop having the pains.

...Memorial Weekend...

We went camping up to Franklin Basin. We had so much fun. Kaylee had been wanting to go so we decided to go at the last minute. It was perfect weather. It was cloudy most of the time so it wasn't to hot. We did get rained on one night for a little while but it was ok cuz it was dinner time so we all just packed into the trailer.

Blessing Day!

We blessed Braxton on May 9th. Brian did such a good job blessing him. We blessed him and then had a dinner afterwards. It was fun to get to see everybody.

His blessing outfit is a tux. I thought that it was so cute. It even has the monkey tale on the back. I love these pictures. It is fun he is finally starting to smile and make noise.

Kaylee got a new dress too. She looked so cute in it.

May 5th Braxton is 6 weeks old!

I took Braxton into the doctors office so that they could weigh him cuz he is still so tiny. His weight is now 8lbs 3 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. He is still not were they want him to be so I will have to take him in every other day to have him weighed. He should have gained at least another pound since the last time I took him in and he has only gained a half a pound. It doesn't seem like that much but at his age it makes a big difference. They are now wanting him to take the prevacid twice a day to see if that will help.

Braxton

I took Braxton to the doctor yesterday to do a video x-ray of his stomach to see if it was closed off. They said that his stomach is fine. He has severe acid reflux. They have him of prevacid right now and an acid reflux formula. So far it hasn't really helped much. He is still throwing up alot. Hopefully they will be able to figure something out so that he can keep the food down so he can gain some weight.

Braxton 1 month old April 24th

I had to take Braxton to the doctors on Monday. He is now 7lbs 9oz. He is still so tiny. We are having a problem with getting him to gain weight. He throws up almost everything he eats. We have been trying different formulas to see if we can find something he can keep down. They are now thinking that he has really bad acid reflux. They have him on prevacid and a acid reflux formula. So far it hasn't really helped much. If he isn't better by Monday then we have to take him back and they are going to do an ultrasound to see if his stomach is closed most of the way.

Jackson Hole April 16-18

We decided to take a Vacation at the last minute. We finally decided on Jackson Hole since we havent been there in a long time. We went with my cousin Kim, her husband Chris and their two boys Jace and Trevor. It was nice to get away from all the crazyness of life. We went shopping, ate lots of food, and relaxed (I had forgot what that was like). We saw TONS of elk, deer, moose, and buffalo. It was so much fun!

This was are last day in Jackson so we finally got a family picture.

Our motel that we stayed at had bears all over it. They were climbing up the walls outside and would be peaking in your window. It was cool.
